lemonise?

Gadigal - based psychedelic four piece Lemonise present cosmic riffs and enchanting rhythms that leave audiences into a deep groove. There’s something for everyone at a Lemonise show — whether that be Yidaki/didgeridoo drones played by First Nations vocalist Jake Magi, wild dancing and laughter amidst transcendent riffage on stage, or heartfelt words about creating music in bucolic bliss — the band take their audience with them on a sonic journey through the untamed NSW South Coast, a place of inspiration for the band and birthplace of their song.

Dreamed up by four young university students wanting to provide a musical escape to the people of the city, Lemonise is not only a passion project but the freshest name in national music, having supported industry legends such as Pacific Avenue, Allah-Las and Bootleg Rascal. The band have taken the Australian live music scene by storm, playing a full capacity EP launch at Vic on the Park in October 2025, featuring at Yours and Owls Festival and SXSW Sydney 2025. Their debut EP ‘Smoke Signals’, released in September, has garnered triple j airplay and over 24k monthly listeners on Spotify.

Lemonise invite their live audience to feel small in a vast world and lose themselves in elemental groove.

Bio:

Lemonise are an eclectic four-piece from Sydney’s Inner West presenting Yidaki (didgeridoo) – infused psychedelic rock. Lemonise craft a sound that could sit comfortably in a playlist alongside artists such as King Stingray, SELVE, Coterie, POND, and Velvet Trip.

Lemonise acknowledge the Gadigal people, the traditional owners of the land on which they perform and pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
